We are not looking for voice actors. We are looking for real people who naturally speak Nigerian Pidgin in everyday life. The focus is on authentic pronunciation, rhythm, and natural expression.
How to record
Use each word or phrase in a dialogue naturally, as if speaking to a friend, a neighbour, a colleague, or a family member.
Imagine a real-life situation and use phrases in a dialogue, the way you genuinely would.
Please avoid
- Radio presenter voice
- Newsreader voice
- Overacting
- Artificially slowing down every word
- Trying to sound overly formal
- Exaggerating your accent

Compensation
Compensation is provided for approved recording batches.
Payment is based on completed and approved batches, reviewed for pronunciation accuracy, dialect authenticity, clarity, and audio quality.
High-quality contributors may be invited for additional paid recording work.
Recording requirements
- Quiet room
- No background TV, music, or conversations
- One phrase per recording
- Speak clearly and naturally
- A phone microphone is acceptable if the environment is quiet
